WAYS TO GIVE
Your contributions, no matter how large or small, will help families to get back on their feet. Currently, there are over 2543 people in our community who cannot afford safe and adequate shelter. Of those, over 690 are children. Given the current economic conditions, we fear that number will steadily grow.
Our facility is the largest of its kind on the Treasure Coast. The The Hope For Families Center enables our clients to re-establish self-sufficiency through structured programs and linkages to community health and human services. Adult residents are required to find jobs within two weeks and save 75% of their income. Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs is strictly enforced.
- Your donation of $231 gives one week of shelter, food, and help for one client
- Your donation of $990 gives a client of months’ worth of support
- Your donation of $6900 gives the average client enough support to make it on his own.
We Need Your Help
It costs us $33 per day to house, feed, counsel, and support a person toward self-sufficiency. If the average person stays seven months, it will take about $6900 to get them back on their feet. The Homeless Family Center has established a safe and convenient way to accept on-line donations. Simply click on the “donate” button. Your support is appreciated!
The Hope for Families Center does not sell or rent the names of its donors. All information provided by a donor is kept in strictest confidence.
Whether you are a longtime supporter of The Hope for Families Center or whether you are giving for your first time, we thank you on behalf of the families we serve.
